Finally... an Easter craft!

Now that my scrap room is almost done, I've been able to get to my stuff and make an easy Easter craft. After releasing a little pent-up creative juice, I was finally able to relax. Pathetic, I know! We all have our coping mechanisms, creating stuff is mine.

So here is a tutorial for the easy Easter egg project. I first saw it at the Crafty Secrets booth at CHA and thought, "I can make that." You really can make it too!Supplies:
  • Styrofoam egg (Michael's)
  • pearl headed pins
  • "A LOT" of Paper flowers (mine are from Prima)
  • Buttons
Instructions:
I don't think I've ever written such simple instructions... hmmm... layer flowers and button, push pin through and push into styrofoam egg. Repeat. It seems too simple, right? A picture may say it better:
Seriously, try the egg project! It will give you so much creative-satisfaction and you will be amazed at how little time it takes.

Next week, I think I will reveal my new sanctuary....I mean, scrap room . I am putting in the final details (and Brentt still needs to hang the doors). So much vintage, French inspiration. It is simply dreamy!

Thanks for checking in!
Cheers!
Christy
